piksels.com - new look and feel
Yesterday Wordpress 2.3 was officially realeased, and which better time to give piksels.com site a visual overhaul than now? Wordpress 2.3 isn’t really a breakthrough release compared to 2.2, but definitely has some nice improvements (tag support!).
I am still working out the kinks, and getting all the plugins to work properly. Unfortunately I had to take down the site for an hour to get some major bugs sorted out. I still have a couple error’s here and there but should be all taken care of soon, so please forgive any nasty php errors you might see!
The site is slowly going to be getting some minor visual enhancements to make it oh so beautiful! I can’t take credit for the great grid design, it was based on the popular Grid Focus design by Derek Punsalan . I have spent most of the time modifying the back-end of the theme to get it to work with dynamic sidebars, plugins, etc but once that is all sorted out will make something beautiful for the front end.

Good job man. i like it.looks and is structured. you know which element i dont like but i guess that brings $$ hehe.

Like it, especially the menu, reminds me about Spiekermans blog, but liked the previous one more… mainly because of the font used for the headings.

Yeah the other theme used sifr for the headlines, there for I could use any font I wanted to.. I’m going to have to work on getting that installed on this theme as well
